L'Osteria in Herne

Always great and the pizzas are simply bombastic. An absolute recommendation and luckily since Corona with delivery service.

I miss the atmosphere (Corona), that's why I brought home a piece of L'OSTERIA in the form of 5 margarita's and a salad - as always very tasty - home. You could top the pizza with any topping, but the margarita is the absolute, unadulterated minimalist essence - the soul of the pizza and often the simple things in life are the best. I ate the salad for the first time today, there is no question that it was fresh! I decided on the César dressing, absolutely awesome

Otherwise we were often there to eat. At the beginning it was always a highlight - very nice staff. The waiting time was always a little longer but that was manageable. Now we had a voucher for the delivery service in the mailbox. First of all, happy that L'Osteria is now also delivering to us. Picking up is always a thing of the past because we don't have a thermal bag. Happy to order there today. Page is down. Can't find my address at Lieferando? 6km distance to the restaurant. Called. Try the website. Website down as I said. Lieferando not in the catchment area. But distribute the voucher here ? Then the statement from the boss of the voucher is also for collectors? Apparently nobody at L'Osteria knows who is responsible for which delivery area and where promotional vouchers are distributed. What a shame!

Reserved two tables as a family. After a long wait, a waitress finally came to take the order. Treated very badly and had to wait over two hours for drinks and food! A waitress told us when we put down the drink (very angry) that if you don't like it, go somewhere else to eat! There is an urgent need for training here! Never again

Great salads, great pizza ... no matter what you order, it tastes good

I used to enjoy eating at Losteria, but our last order was a complete failure. The spinach on the pizza looked like it had just been thawed and then placed on top. Like the pizza, it was ice cold and inedible. The next morning a shiver ran down my spine when I thought about it. The pasta looked like it came from the hospital canteen, because there were no spices here. The bread was completely forgotten. After all, the pistachios were delicious and the highlight of the order. It's a shame that the quality has deteriorated, otherwise I could always recommend the shop very much.

It was OK. As always, actually. Little staff on the terrace, so short waiting times.

Food is always very good, sometimes you have to wait a little longer for food, which is of course not so great. When you sit inside it can be quite loud, and not everyone feels comfortable either. Nevertheless all in all nice staff and the food tastes like I said.

The pizza was good, but if you don't care about corona hygiene you have come to the right place. In the 2 hours that we were there, the contact details were not recorded at any table. Unbelievable in times of Corona. You won't see me here again.

Unfortunately a disappointment: I was there on recommendation for a pizza that was only served lukewarm. A desired topping was forgotten and subsequently put on an extra plate - then placing it on top of the pizza where it would have belonged under the cheese was only moderately satisfactory. Let this pizza go back, order a new one, which was then another half an hour in coming. In addition, it had to be a different one, because one topping was no longer in stock. So after more than 30 minutes I got another pizza, which was very empty. Only a few tiny halved cherry tomatoes and two small mozzarella slices were found on the huge half of the pizza. The subtle amount of topping was balanced out with puddles of oil spread over the pizza. Didn't look appetizing and it wasn't! Only the selection on the menu looked attractive, but the quality of the service and the kitchen left a lot to be desired. Unfortunately, no second visit from me, as so much really went wrong here in just one process. No recommendation.

The food is good, an appetizer should be chosen with the pasta as the portions are relatively small. Tastes good across the board. The pizza is very big, thin and also tasty. The big disadvantage is the noticeable differences in service. On good days everything goes like clockwork, on other days you like to wait 15 minutes or more for someone from the service. Little attention is paid to the guest. There is often only a bill when you go to the counter or call across the room. That annoys me personally so much that I only give it three out of five stars. Tip: Controls should be used according to their ability. A layer of beginners leads exactly to the chaos described. To be a good waiter requires a certain amount of experience.

The food was very tasty. Unfortunately we had to wait 45 minutes for our salads and the drinking glass still had clear traces of lipstick. That is not possible at the moment.

Overall very tasty and nice atmosphere. Unfortunately it was not possible to order a children's pizza as it was only available later.

Have been here a few times spontaneously. Still got a table. The staff was friendly and served quickly. Food was always good and so far nothing to complain about. That's how it should be.

It's just one of those chains. Clean, well-kept and a little reminiscent of Disneyland. There is no complaint about food either. Has no "soul" for it and looks interchangeable at any time. For a snack or a side trip with the company really great, not recommended for a cozy or romantic evening.

One hour and 20 munutes to have our orders. And one was wrong. Pasta was overcooked. Not going there again.

One of the best Italian restaurants in the city. Especially their gigantic pizzas with lots of varieties, a must try. Ambience is good. Their staff were wonderful.

Nice place for huge pizza. Very friendly staff but as it was very busy they brought the wrong food. Were very sorry and immediately found a solution so all could start eating while they were preparing the right dishes

Amazingly good pizzas! And they are huge! The restaurant is slightly outside Bochum city but worth the short taxi ride. Recommended warmly! Special appreciation towards the staff, great people!
